I asked a question about putting my vhs movies on my laptop...

Someone told me about just using a 4GB Memory Stick and just using that.. How would that work, could someone please explain?

  1. ok. 1st.look about the memory is little good because the computer can work fast,but nothig to see with the vhs movies.What u need is get a video card (i'm not sure if the made those 4 loptop) shofware & hardware, then conect the vhs player to the computer (is gone to detect it self) and then fowoll the intruccions on the program & select a folder to setup,(i must have a harddrive disc space about 4 to8 gigs) cuz some movies are hugge. and thas it


  2. I think you'd need to convert them onto dvd first using one of those dvd and vhs combi players then onto computer/memory stick like you would an average movie.

    Converting VHS to a digital format is easy with a device like Dazzle from Pinnacle. It connects between your laptop and a VCR, and includes everything you need to hook it up. You can buy them at most electronics stores (Best Buy, Amazon.com, etc) for less than $100.
