I asked a question and people answered.?

This is cool and I appreciate all the replies. My question is more about how do I give away points? I see people offering 5 points, etc. How do I reward my good answerers. I'm new and I'm level 1, if that makes a difference.

When you choose a best answer, that person gets 10 points.  If I were you, I wouldn't bother advertising the points.  Most people on here know they will get points, so it's kind of silly.

i dont know what those people are talking about but you only get 2 points for answering and an additional 10 if the asker picks your answer as best.

Choose the best answer and that person will get 10 points. It is not possible to offer more or less than 10. That is the only choice and you don't choose the amount. You just choose who gave you the best answer and in the comments section, a thank you would be nice to show the person you really appreciate how much of their own time they took to answer your question.

how it works....=)

anytime you ask a question it takes 5 of your points

anytime you answer a question you get 2 points

whenever you choose a best answer for someone who answered your question they get 10 points

if any of your answers get chosen for best answer then you will get 10 points

whenever you vote on which answer is the best on undecided questions you get 1 point

and every day that you log in you get 1 point

everytime you reach a higher level you can ask and answer more questions.............hope this helps!!!!

edit:oooo yea thats right you just have to wait a few hours and it will give you the option which one you want to choose for best answer........
