not a Melbourne supporter - but I think that any team that are TRYING so hard will be better than the inevitable side that stops trying at the 20th or 18th game stage so they can get a draft advantage, no prizes for guessing who....

Mind you, it doesn't help them when their captain suggests that a select committee - him and who else? - should sit in judgment on other footballers' off field behaviour.

Yes, they're c**p! :) I went today, and even though we didn't play the best of games we still managed to win by 90+

To Answer your question they most definately are, the progression of it's players in terms of experience are similar to the dogs but the team was against smashed for the 2nd week in a row and will most likely happen against geelong next week.

The skills are just not there, players are making too many wrong decisions and putting themselves under too much pressure. The defensive players are just too small and underpowered and dont have the bulk to win out in contested marking contests. I also think the forward line is our biggest problem, Neitz is out of form and honestly should be dropped and Davey didn't do enough again. Robertson was just ok, the center half forwards dont provide any drive they just bang it in there and hope for the best, the doggies were able to penerate much easier and shoot goals from that 40-50m mark.

Also the last thing you said mate about winning 1 premiereship is just wrong, Melbourne have won 12 and are clearly not the worst AFL team in history.
