  1. For starters - Don't give up!

So you may put on a bit this week, everyone is entitled to a bit of a slip up now and then.

As for the exercise - maybe not all day long, but go for it, any exercise will burn more calories and help offset any weight gain. Also bear in mind that when you eat 'High GI' foods (which is typically the case for sugary foods) then this will convert into energy faster so it is good to get out there and exercise before it is converted into fat reserves (always leave 1-4 hours after eating before you exercise - unless it is literally just a bite or two).

Also - when you get back in from a hard session, be sure to eat something with carbs and proteins in the first 20 mins (not too much) which will help the body replenish its muscle energy (after all, you don't want to be too tired to go out again tomorrow).

An exercise regime will pay more dividends than simply overdoing it when you have a slip up because if you get exhausted then you will just be tempted to come back in and binge.

  2. relax  tomorrow is another day just try to avoid junk food.

  3. yes you can burn it off if you work out.

Also you can try to work twice as hard next week.

You may actually get a pimple or two though, because that sounded like junk food.

But to stay track on your diet better, you should give yourself little rewards.

For example, if you complete your weekly workout without giving up and eating all healthy foods, maybe you should buy something you've been wanting, or treat yourself to a movie, or have one small portion of dessert, or something like that.

  4. Nothing is going to happen to you.  Just eat better next week.  One week makes no difference.  What matters is to eat healthily over the long term.

  5. You should try not to worry so much, a healthy eating plan is a lifelong commitment, not something you go 'on' and 'off'. In answer to your question- if you have drastically reduced your calorie intake before you ate those foods, it is likely you will put on some weight (simply because your metabolism will have slowed down to cope with the decreased energy intake and may not increase sufficiently quickly to cope with the extra). If you were eating adequately (but healthily) then your body should cope fine with the extra food, provided it is temporary x

  6. don't dwell on it. just get back on track asap and maybe make even better food decisions to make up for what you ate. try cutting out a few more calories at other meals, also. exercise about 30 more minutes and at a higher intensity, that way you'll burn off more, but you won't be killing yourself trying to burn it all off.

  7. You'll gain it all back. And depending on what type of diet you've been on, you may gain more than you lost.
