I have recently become a vegetarian, but today I broke down and ate a chicken thigh. but now I feel so gross. I feel weighted down and like I have this cute little bird in my stomach. I almost feel like purging but I won't. What should I do?

  1. Why did you eat it? Were you given the food by someone and didn't want to refuse it? Was it out of lazyness? Did you feel self destructive and wanted to break the rules? If you feel wrong about it then that's good because you'll learn from this. Next time when this happen you will think of how you feel now and decide not to eat it!

  2. don't do it again?  its a good learning experience... just think of little clucky in there next time you are tempted.

  3. don't deprive yourself, its okay we all make mistakes

  4. Don't worry, I feel that way when I accidentally or feel obliged to eat/drink a dairy product! Ugh!

  5. stop the urge to eat meat

  6. Do something really good for the animals to make up for it. Donate to Peta or something. Btw, if you were a true vegetarian you would have put your foot down and said no thank you. Are you sure you care about the animals THAT much?

  7. First, you should stop punishing yourself. We all make mistakes. You know what you really want to eat, so don't get distracted with what you used to eat.
