  1. No, the majority of vegetarians weren't raised veg.  We were mostly meat eaters, just like you.

  2. Congratulations on your choice.  It will contribute to a healthier planet for everyone.

Check out these links on why:

  3. No your lifestyle  is a matter of personal preference if that is what you feel is best then by all means do it.  welcome to the democracy that is AMERICA~

  4. The transition would bring lots of benefits! You will certainly feel more energized. You just need to avoid some vegetarian junk foods because they are still junk! And there is nothing wrong with that!

  5. No, what could be wrong with it?  Most vegetarians have not been vegetarian from the time they were born, at least not in the US.

  6. no i did the same thing i ate meat until i was 13 then decided to go vegetarian

  7. why would there be something wrong with you thats why its called you TURNED vegetarian most people who are vegetarians or even vegans actually grew up meat eaters but decided wisely and said they didnt want to anymore and were concerned about their health you must be listening to people around you who are trying to amek you feel bad or something for you to think this way just keeping doing you and as long as your happy thats all that should matter

  8. Of course not.

  9. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, if you don't preach the gospel. Needless to say, no one will ever mistake you for a gourmet.

  10. No, you don't have to be obnoxious around other people and you could be a top tier athlete if you were so determined.

What could possibly be wrong with being a vegetarian?

If you have any doubt in your mind that vegetarians can't do everything that meat-eating folk can do, let go of it now.

Carl Lewis is a vegetarian and won numerous Olympic Gold Medals is his day and Mac Danzig is a vegan UFC champion.

  11. No, that happened to me, except it didn't just happen. It happened a few months ago!

  12. oh no.

It's actually a great decision on your part, if you don't mind me saying.

A vegetarian diet is equally as healthy as a carnivorous diet. But it does drop one thing: the bad moral to killing an animal for food.

  13. Of course not! I ate meat for the first 24 1/2 years of my life, but that doesn't mean I do it any more. Most vegetarians in the U.S. were raised in meat-eating families and convert later on. Of course, there are some people who are raised vegetarian, but the majority of us aren't.

  14. ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!! i would say that this is how most vegetarians start out. it is never too late to make a healthy change for your body and for the animals. that is how i started out! good luck!!!! : )

  15. Thats usually how its done!

except for some who were always brought up vegetarian

  16. No, its your choice as long as your happy & healthy! But it seems now a days kids are making it a fad, & they don't read into it enough.  If I were you I would get some vegan cookbooks to get some ideas for what you can eat instead of meat, also go to

http://vegweb.com/   they have some recipes I have already tried & they are delicious!

  17. Nope, there's nothing wrong with that. Congrats on your decision to go veg!

  18. Not at all.

  19. Just remember to to find protein in other items for example beans.

  20. no

  21. Thats what I did. I realized what I was eating at longhorns and decided I didnt want to eat it anymore.

  22. No not at all.As I get older I find that I am eating way less meat and more veggies.I am looking forword to the day I eat no meat.By the way I am 41.
