I am in my second block of classes week eight. My teacher has not been in the classroom for ten days. I tried contacting everyone I could think of to help with this matter. I have an assignment due today but my teacher being missing has not given the material needed to complete it. Will I fail because of her? She nor my academic counselor will return my phone calls about this and I do not know what to do next.

  1. In addition to trying her directly, create a log of all your attempted contacts. Save your e-mails to her and print out your cell phone log for proof. If you can't get a response within a couple of days, contact the department offering the courses and make an appointment with the chair to discuss your concerns. If you can't get a response from the chair, go to the Dean. That will certainly get someone's attention!

  2. This is odd.  I just finished my last block to earn my degree and never had any problems.  Maybe something happened (hope not).  Here is the number for Axia Main Campus (800) 545-6042.  Call them and tell them whats up.  Usually your instructor gives their contact info which includes a cell or home phone.  Try calling her directly.
