In the past I had night terrors and bad sleep patterns

The psychiatrist put me on Immovane (i am already on celexa)

I noticed my sleeping habits were changing when I first went on Immovane. I wasn't avoiding sleep like before.

I notice I'm starting to avoid sleep again. The doc gave me a higher dose of Immovane but it's just making me groggy in the morning.

Any suggestions?

  1. Get a third shift job. Then you can sleep in the daytime.

  2. Try going off the medication and going to bed at the same time every day and waking the same time every morning. Try this for a week or so to see how it works.

  3. This may sound corny but try meditating. Relax every muscle in your body and close your eyes. Try not to think about anything. Do this for about 1/2 hour before going to bed and you may find that it will help you fall asleep easier.
