I just got my grades and my overall GPA is a 2.991.

You need a 3.0 GPA to graduate and get an MBA.

What are my options? Do you think they'll bump my GPA to a 3.0?

  1. Oh, I got confused. I'm not 100% sure what to do.

Your GPA is just so close. Maybe if you get lucky they would round it up. I'll still try speeking to someone. Maybe you  still could convince a teacher to give you a higher grade even though the class is over with (I knew a prof. who did this during summer vacation in august). Make sure you go to a prof. who may sympathize your situation.

You could also see a dean and ask him/her about it . If they say you will not get the MBA, then you could try and negotiate your grade. You could make a deal and say if I do something (maybe an extra project), can I get at least .01 points added to my GPA(= to 3.001 GPA).

There also might be some educational grading appeal thingy (I'm not sure). You could appeal to I think a dean or some big shot guy of the school. I don't know anything about this. I'm not even sure if this exist. The school might force you retake all the courses all over again instead of kicking you out.

I mean your GPA is just too close to 3.0 to not give you a MBA.

I'm not 100% sure with everything I said. I am about to enter graduate school for an MBA. So I find this question really interesting.

    Good luck
