For around a year (I am 20) I have found it increasingly diffucult to keep my right eye in line with my left eye. My fiancee, parents, and friends have noticed it before and when they say something about it I can correct it. However, latley I can feel it and it tends to be happening alot more frequently. I looked it up online at the symptoms and my eye does drift outwards, I close that eye when exposed to bright lights, and I have been having difficulty reading and experiencing headaches more frequently and my eyes get strained easily.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what treatment options there are. I see that vision therapy is a popular one but I was wondering if I would be able to get glasses as well to assist me with reading (as I am a university student). I dont know if glasses will help me focus on reading or not. I realize that this will not treat it but would like to know if it would help with reading.

  1. Every case is different and your condition merits seeing an eye doctor for professional advice for your particular case. Often, conditions can be treated and corrected in the early stages but if you wait too long, nothing can be done.
