RSS Feed from Yahoo! Group. It's an old group and does not have RSS icon available. It's big membership and we don't want to start a new group, just want RSS feed.

  1. If you do not see the XML icon in the Most Recent Messages section, there’s no RSS feed available for your group.  You could use the Yahoo Groups help form and ask if it's possible to have the RSS feed added to the older group.  Here is link to help form:  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  2. This may be the reason:

Why isn’t there an RSS feed for my group?

Since RSS is used as a way to read/aggregate public content on the web, this feature is only available for groups with messages set to "public" (no membership required).

you wont see the XML icon unless the above settings are set- all groups were last updated in 2005 with a major overhaul. age of group would not affect this- all groups have the same features
