I have no problem emailing individuals in the group but when I try to post to the entire group I get an error message when I've checked with the group pres and secretary they say I'm sending attachments but I'm not. I use email everyday but this particular group I'm having mega problems can you help?

  1. Try going to the group site and post your message there.  If it goes through ok, then you will know it's either your email service or something to do with the problem Yahoo is having.  I really doubt that it's your email service since you are not having this problem sending mails to others.

  2. I would recommend contacting a Yahoo Groups customer service representative as well to see if they might be able to help figure out what could be causing this to occur in case this could be a technical issue going on.

  3. **if you can only send plain text messages to this group. HTML or other formats are not allowed, for some reason your posts from your mail provider, Yahoo is detecting it on this group. a link in the signature could cause this. a photo embedded in the mail could. sending e-mails to other members is not accurate comparison to the problem. their mail settings may not be the same as group settings.**

it could be one of the many glitches going on. what does the error message you get? where are you posting from, your own e-mail or the group? sometimes a virus will attach as an attachment on outgoing mail- but if other groups are not having an issue with your posting, it's really hard to say what would cause it here. a mail signature could cause this in a group if attachments are not allowed or any HTML's
