I belong to the Yahoo group by the name of "thzoph", and I am not seeing the message I posted on my home page.

Are you checking the home page of the Yahoo Group itself?  This is the best place to check, as this is the first place a new message appears.  If a message you posted isn't appearing on the home page of the Yahoo Group, it means it hasn't appeared in the Group yet.  There are multiple possible reasons this could happen.  (1) Slow internet traffic at the time you sent your message means it hasn't reached the Yahoo servers yet.  (2) If your Group moderates messages from its members, it could be that your post has reached the Yahoo servers but isn't appearing becuase the owner/moderator hasn't approved it yet.  If this is the case, your message will appear when the owner/moderator approves it.

EDIT : crazy_mom is correct - that Group does moderate messages from its members.  So my # 2 above does apply.

that group requires posts to be approved, it's probably pending awaiting that
