I have a ZoomBox projector. I've had it for a year and a half. When I was playing it, the screen just shut off, but the button lights and the music still kept playing. So, I thought the light burned out, but then I tried to turn it on a few minutes later, and it worked. So I played for like, two minutes, then it did the same thing! So, I thought played it too much, so I shut it off and left it off all night long. Well, when I played it the next day, it only worked for 5 minutes. But it'll turn back on in a few minutes. I took out the bulb and put it back in again and that didn't help. Is there a short? What's going on? Like I said, only the screen will turn off. Everything else will stay on. What can I do to fix this problem? Please help!!! 10 pts if you help me out!!!!

  1. I think tis thing has burnt out or something

  2. there a seperate circuit with an auto resetting breaker from the sounds of it

  3. the screen is what is broken. dont play it for a month. then see what happens.  it is worth a try!

  4. Well there goes your billion dollars!

  5. The screen's power source probably has a seperate circuit that has a short or something.

  6. It could be many things.

maybe the fan is broken, so the unit overheats and shuts offs.

Or the heat sensor went bad and it thinks it overheats.

    Just take it for service.
