Question:

I binged, badly. please help?

i usually do very good on my diet

today was a "cheat meal" day and i didnt really want anything big, just something i normally wouldnt have... so i had like chicken , mac and cheese and a 90 cal fudge bar for my cheat

then i just went all out and ate A LOT.. (not going to say all what i ate, its kinda embrassing) but it was quite a bit.. i felt super guilty so i did a 25 min. exercise video that came with my exercise ball, then played dance dance revolution intil it said i burned 400 cal (about 1 hour and 20 min) and then tae bo cardio

i know i did a lot of exercise

BUT i went way over a normal amount of calories..

plus tmrw im gonna wake up extra early and do a cardio session before i eat anything... about 25 min..

i mean, i shouldnt be worried this much and dont say "once in a while is fine" but do you think i did enough exericse and i wont gain weight.. i really dont know exactly how much cal. i ate.. but id say between 2500-3500

i know horrible.. dont put me down lol... cuz this 1200 cal. a day thing REALLY deprives me from foods i love.

so enough exericse ?

p.s. i ate good intil dinner time,so all the calories at dinner time was BAD and i exercise like 2 hours after dinner.. and it was like over 2 hours of exericse i did...

and i know how to diet so dont give me tips just answer the question do you think i burned enough?

  1. A 'one time thing' will not hurt you. Don't stress over it too much.


  2. Ah...don't do it again. But only once won't do anything bad. Remember eating is to keep us alive so eat just enough don't stuff yourself.

  4. try find out what makes you want to binge... like are you bored? angry ? does it comfort you? when you find out what makes you feel like binging you will be more aware of your actions and hopefully since you are aware try and avoid binging. I know its helped me a lot knowing what sets me off on wanting to eat bad foods! hehe

    anyway yea the exercise you did probably offset it a little bit. Don't worry about it too much tomorrow just start new. Remember to drink lots of water and since you did a crazy amount of exercise after eating you may feel sore tomorrow. so stretch and do some exercise tomorrow too or you're going to hurt. Eat fruits or have rice cakes when you feel snackish.

  6. you probably burned about 1000 calories so maybe not all of them=/

    but if you do the cardio in the morning it should get rid of the extra calories. plus when u sleep u burn calories like 50 an hour :D

    also  instead of drinking fruit juice or regular soda or sumthin drink tea with lots of splenda which is calorie free :D

    and 100 calorie pack popcorn are a miracle becuz there so light and u feel like u had sumthing so good but so little calories

    avoid the 100 clorie packs in the white boxes like the chips ahoy cookies and oreo ones and those things

  7. why do you still need to ask? YES, i think you had enough exercise already.don't deprive your self too much.
