I booked a cruise but!!!!!?

i booked a cruise to Bermuda for Aug 16 but my passport expires before i go, it expires July 27!!!!! what do i do!!!!!!!!!!!

Contact the Australian embassy in Canberra and they will advise. You may have to go there to pick it up.Good luck

Check to see if you need one, since the new policy doesn't go into effect until Jan. 09. And if you do order another one.   I just got mine in and it only took 2 weeks...i'm sure you have time!

you are OK -- make sure you have a license and LEGAL birth certificate. (assuming you are a US Citizen)

I am going on a cruise this month but you don't really need a passport until  2009. You may use your bith certificate or you could try yo renew your passport as soon as possible.

You did not realize that your passport was expiring soon?

Get yourself an expidited passport.  It is going to cost a lot more but it is YOUR fault.

You simply aply for a new passport asap. Dont wait a moment since it could take severel weeks to get one. But dont forget to inform your cruise line that you have a new passport if you have give them the old ones number. Its important that the number they got is the same as your new one is so there want be any trouble during check in.

Please note that your passport has to be valid for six month after your cruise in most cases.

When youre aplaying for a new passport it could be a good idea to inform your authority about that you have to have it before august 16 no later. It could speed the process a bit. Johan.

Yeah you are diffently going to want to get a passport. I worked for Princess and we would not even allow you to get your boarding pass( online) with out a valid passport. Its always safe to have one up to date. You still have time to get it. Just have it rushed.

You may not need a passport as the new passport rules do not go into effect until January1 2009, but to be on the safe side, call the cruise company you are sailing with and ask them.

You have plenty of time to get a new passport.  Go to the post office and tell them you need a renewal and you need to expedite.
