I booked a ticket in Indian Railways & found my self in waiting list. WL-2/WL-3, what is my current position ?

What means this WL-2/WL/3 ?

i think your current position is WL 3 since the first number is the WL number at the time of purchase.But to be sure,why don't you visit the website and check the current status with your PNR?

If you had mentioned your PNR number then it would have been easy. Anyway, as per WL-2/WL-3 - I think the number which you have mentioned is wrong b'coz the first number i.e. WL-2 should be greater than the second number i.e. WL-3. The first number is the total number of waiting listed number & the second number is the position at the time of booking your ticket & that is your actual waiting list number.

At the time of booking your actual W/L number was was 2. But you were the third person to book a waitlisted ticket on that train. For your current status, you can login to Indian Railways website

and check with your PNR number.

U get your solution on site www.sgodgroup.com, there is given all railway  information . In the right hand side there is a tittle called SPECIAL in which RAIL PASSENGER INFORMATION  is one of the content, go through ON PNR  and get your  information.
