I booked my vacation at the Westin My Lucya, but have been reading such awful reviews.

Question

I've read the place is deserted, with most of it's facilities closed, a casino that is impossible to win at, high crime, deserted marketplaces. I was looking for rest and relaxation but fear we might now be bored for a week with nothing to do. Anyone been there lately? We'll be going the second week of Sept.

its not lucaya thats deserted its internationl bazzar and that was after the bad hurricane in 03 which caused the hotel to close. theres plenty to do in lucaya especially for a week you could always explore the island if you do find yourselk gettin bored plenty to do so dont worry just bring plenty of dollars lol.

kinda tru ...it is a really good hotel but after the hurricanes the tourist stopped coming and plus most of the businesses got really damaged...but i like it when there isn't alot of people..but u will have fun trust me
