sure you can send it back but you still have to pay for it. The finance co. will demand there moneys. If you refuse then they will reposes the car and sell/auction it for whatever and you will still owe the rest and have screwed up your credit and any chance of buying another. Some jobs view this credit report when applying for a job and lenders and renters can use it too.

  Buckle down and pay the note.

what is hp?  You bought a vehicle and can't afford it?  How did you get approved by the bank?  What is your payment per month?  Can you get a 2nd job?  I'm sure you have negative equity in your vehicle as it's an depreciating item.  Talk to your dealership or find out the grace period in your state.
