I bot a new cumpooter but i dont no how to turn it of. it dyes evry 3 days, so i had to buy 40 baterys. HELP!

did you buy a lap top? the battery dies every so many days-

all computers are different and depending on what you bought- Windows- Mac- what? Vista is very different from XP or 98- your operating system is what's needed to help you turn it off, and then help you to turn it back on.

I'd look over the owners manual- they actually sell a book called Windows For Dummies, no joke and it's a good buy for people not too techy

You new computer must have came with a power adaptor.  One end plugs into your computer and the other end plugs into an electrical outlet. It will also keep your battery recharged.  You don't even need a battery if you have a power adapter.  If you do not have one, you can buy one for your computer where you bought the computer. You also can call the store you bought the computer from and they can help you know about all of this.

To turn off your computer, click Start on bottom left on your screen.  Then click Turn off computer.  That will turn it off.

To turn it back on, there should be a button to push.  If it's a laptop computer, that button will be at the top of the keyboard.  It is is a box, the button will be on the upper front. Just push the button one time and wait for it to start up.  If it is a box type computer, you also have to turn on the monitor that looks like a small TV. The monitor also has a button to push to turn it on and off.

Start by enrolling in Elementary School.  Pay attention to the teacher & do your homework.  Continue with school until you have graduated High School.  Hopefully by then you will have acquired enough knowledge to be able to read an instruction manual.
