I bought A Car Without any Title, The guy who sold me the Car is giving me Excuses... What should I do?

I bought my Car from a guy who fixes Cars for a living but he never gave me a title. I asked him today If he had it and he said he lost it. Now I dunno What to do. I setup an appointment to meet him to get 30 bucs from him for a Temporary but he didnt show up.Im really between a Rock and a hard place. This is my first Car and my last time buying a Car from a Junkyard Dealer. I live in Texas so I dunno really know the Laws around that.

no way that could easily be a stolen car i dk wat to tell you about that i guess call a courthouse or the dmv

s***w him don't buy it for real it might be a stolen car and if it is you'll be screwed.

You set yourself up to get hosed. NEVER buy a vehicle without a title in hand. There is no law in place to protect you in this situation.
