I bought Uniden TRU9485-2 and the 2nd extra handset those not display anything on the screen. How do I fix it?

The phone works fine but it's just that I can't read anyhing on the screen. The light on the LCD is on but no letters or icon showing on the screen. Or is it that I need to register the handset? It came with the others so I wouldn't think I'll need to register it.....that would be difficult if nothing can be read on the screen though. Pls help.

when you do have 2 comes with the same package you still need to set them onto main base phone so they will connect each other.

If the words can't see much:

MENU

HANDSET SETUP > OK

LCD Contrast  used arrow up  make it you can see more clearly the words and arrow down can't see any words.
