I bought a CD player about 2 weeks or so ago, and it stopped working, you think I can exchange it?

I bought it from Circuit city about 2 weeks ago, and for some reason the cd player stopped working. The fuse and wiring is all fine, but it just stopped working. I just want to exchange it I dont want my money back, I just want a CD player that works, you think i could still exchange it?

  1. What is exactly worng with the cd most retailers have caught on the burn and return schemes. If the integrity of the cd is very poor they should let you exchange it or return it. Do you have the reciept Very important.

    yes you should exchange it! its possible that machines malfunction some times.. its common.. i brought 2 sony last time and they exchanged it for me too.. oh and 1 more thing Heard about the http://www.myeonon.com

  4. You should be able to do so.  It will be much easier if you have a reciept to prove you bought it at Circuit City.

    But if you don't, it should still be possible.  It might be a fight of it, and you MAY need to go to a manager before you get helped in that way, but most stores will do it.  Circuit City couldn't really compete with other stores if it didn't do the same thing.
