I bought a Canon DC 310 and i cant get vids on my computer?

A bought a mini disk camcorrder and I cant get it on my computer well I can but when I do i try to put it in adobe premiere and it not the right format?

Hopefully, your computer has a drawer loading DVD drive. Finalize the disc (if it needs it - read the manual).

Download and install HandBrake

Take the disc out of the camcorder and put it in the computer's drawer loading DVD drive.

Rip the video to something Premiere likes... .avi., .dv... THEN import the converted file.

Warning: DVD based camcorders provide the worst available quality because of highest amount of compression. Adobe Premier is a powerful program - what a waste to be using DVD camcorder based video...
