I plug it into my USB Drive and the little note pops up to say found new hardware. I click to install and it on the wizard and it doesn't install properly it says your new hardware might not work properly. There was no installation CD, I just need help on trying to get the computer to recognize the device. If this helps i'm running a windows XP Home edition....

  1. If your computer cannot recognise is initially then you need a download some software.

I had this problem with my Zen V+.

Go to this to get the update:

    http://support.creative.com/Products/Pro...

  2. It didn't come with an installation cd?

    Mine did.

It wasn't a full sized cd though, it was one of those little ones that goes into the inner ring of your cd tray.

But in the instruction manual, it says you can also go to:

www.creative.com/zenmozaic and download creative centrale, which is your file transfer program.

So, go to the website and download it and then once installation is complete, your computer should be able to recognize the hardware!

    Hope that helps!

  3. you need to download the music controller application and drivers from creative in the same way you need to download  itunes from apple for a ipod or the Connect?sonic Stage for Sony walkmans.

It should tell you to do this in the manual just after explaining what each bit does.
