I bought a Hifonics 1606D Amp with a SSA (sound solutions audio) 12 inch icon sub? Gain Settings?

SSA Sub is capable of withstanding 1000 watts rms power, what would the best gain settings be to have the best sound?

turn up the volume to the max

connect the sub to the amp and then start setting the gains

do it to the point the sub is playing clear and undistorted.thats will do the trick
