I bought a MP3/MP4 player from ebay from hong kong and it keeps switching its self on and off help!!!

hi i just bought a touch screen MP4 player from ebay and it seems to charge fine and work fine , havent been able to put videos on it but the worst problem is every so often it switches its self off and back on again any ideas on how to get that to stop???

It sound like there is a short in the power supply. This could have been caused by getting moisture into the device or just wear and tear. If you can not get any moisture out by the above mentioned method you should contact the person you purchased it from and get a full refund. This is why it is so important to make agreement about these kind of things before-hand.

maybe therea a problem with the bat, or maybe someone got water in it. Try putting it in a bowl of rice over night beause rice draws out wet substances becausenit obsorbes. if that doesn t ork and its still turning on and off contact the previous owner/seller.

I have noticed that sometimes the sleep function is set to a really short time so the mp4 player will keep shutting off what seems like randomly. To fix this, you can go to the settings function and set the sleep time to a longer time. I hope this helps!
