  1. it is normal because you have to keep in mind that corn snakes are nocturnal(active at night) so it probably wont be so active during the day.

  2. Corn snakes, like many other snakes, are nocturnal.

    So yes, its normal.

You need to take Sarah's advice on this one. The temperature, along with water availability, is extremely important in aiding the proper way of life for your snake.

  3. well u tell us what temp the cage is and we can tell u if its right. also what do u mean by sleep are u sure its sleeping not hiding. snakes take time to ajust to there new surroundings u shouldnt really bother them for 7 days minimum just change the water and thats it.

  4. yes its normal

my corn snake just slept during the first few weeks but this is only temporary they are very active creatures and are very good at escaping, mine managed to lift the tank lid on its own!!

make sure your tank is about 150L and kept between 80–85 °F (26–29 °C) this is very important as low temperatures can cause respiratory infections, poor digestion and death.

if the tank is too hot it causes brain damage

as long as your under-tank heating pad or heat lamp is attached to a thermostat or rheostat to control temperature you should be fine.

    hope that helps
