This is going to sound so childish since I am starting my senior year in college (well yesterday was my first day but I only had 1 class so I didn't need a backpack).

I bought this adorable backpack a few weeks ago. I just now cut off the tags and filled it with all my supplies. It has a lot of compartments and it is comfortable to wear. However, when I put it on, I realized that it looks a little big for me! It's so cute, but when I put it on, it looks big! Will I look like a dork? Will I get made fun of? The last three years I used a plain Jansport. I call my new backpack a "swiss army backpack" because of all the compartments.

I have 5 classes a day, and I don't live close enough to run home and swap out materials throughout the day.

What do you think?

  1. If you don't live close to campus, believe me, a big bag is worth it.  No one cares if you use a backpack.

I love my backpack (I'm a college junior, btw).

  2. hmm i dont know.. look areound to see what other people use,, but if you dont feel comfortable with it just get another bag cause it will just haunt you through out the day and you wont be able to concentrate

  3. If you like it so much and think it's so "adorable" and "cute", then keep on using it and don't worry about what other people may or may not think.

I'm sure that other people are wrapped up enough in themselves to not give a second thought about whether your adorable backpack is a bit on the large side or not...but if anyone is shallow and vacuous enough to comment, then I suggest you tell them to mind their own business and get a life :D

Be an individual, not someone who lets others dictate how they look ;)
