I just found out that my house has asbestos siding, which is not harmful if it is left alone. However, I used a power drill and 3inch screws to reattach my shutters. Could this be harmful to me?

  1. could it be yes was it probably not you were outside  little breeze blowing the asbestos just drifted in the air if there is a next time just make sure you put water on the siding before you drill


  2. Only if you inhaled the dust, which is very very fine.  In the future, use a good mask.
