I bought a land to build a house as investment property. Can I claim GST on land purchase and if so how? ?

Land is in my name and I do not run a business nor registered for GST.

  1. yes you can when you do your tax return take it with you to your accountant


  2. To build a residential house as an investment property? Sorry - no can do. Transactions in relation to a residential property is input taxed. Cannot claim.
