I bought a mikomi DVD player and when i zoom to increase pictue size i cannot get rid of the zoom icon. Help?

most films play in letterbox format so i zoom to increase size . However the zoom icon stays and is really annoying. Any idea how i can increase the picture size without zoom or how i can get rid of the icon?

Do you have a Display button on the remote? This toggles on and off display features like the Zoom icon you're talking about.
