There would be no account number associated with a money order.  There will be a number on the money order that would be used by you to request replacement if it were lost, stolen, or damaged.  That number would also be used by the issuer to protect against forgery, alteration, or duplication.  And you should record the number somewhere separate in case you need it later. But it is not an account number as there is no continuing relationship beyond the single money order.

    It is possible that you established and account somewhere so that you could purchase the money order or that you used funds from an existing account to pay for it.  But any connection like that is meaningless once you have the money order in your possession.
