  1. just tee the ball lower and keep the driver and shaft the same.

  2. I honestly think the loft has nothing to do with it, John Daly hits a 10 degree driver and bombs it.  If your swing speed or tempo is on the high side, get a stiff shaft.  I tried a regular shaft once and had a lot of trouble with it as well.  I've since switched back to a stiff shaft with much better results.

  3. 1. Check your swing. Lots of people use 10.5 with no problem.

    2. Move the ball a little back in your stand, and close the club face in relation to the ball position.

    3. Change the ball to a lower trajectory ball like pro V1X.

    4. Try using more sholder than hands and wrists.

    5. After all of the above and you still think the ball is still too high, change the loft. I use 8.5 stiff shaft, given also your club head speed is 100 over miles per hour.

  4. Whoa...hang on a sec...lets talk about this...

Lets start from where you play...are you at Sea-level, or Up in the higher altitude?  If you are at sea-level, then eh...maybe...how did you get fit with this driver?  it sounds like your swingspeed may be too fast for the shaft, the shaft has a low kickpoint and thus, it takes an upward flight "Ballooning".

From my understanding of Golf makers out there, a 10.5* Driver will usually fit a Regular Shaft.  Define "too high"?  Do you need FAA Clearance for your flight?

What is your distance on the course? not the driving range...the real condition...if your driving around the 240s then be happy and if its more than that, you should be thankful.  You will have great carry.  If the wind is in your back, you will be rewarded beyond your imagination.

They say that your swingspeed should be 10mph faster than the shaft's rating.  Too many people are playing a shaft that is too stiff.

If all this fails, then I'de go back to the one who fit you into this driver, and get someone else that knows the gear.

The idea, is to not get stiff'd

  5. why dont you tee the ball lower?

  6. i would think you should change the loft on the driver. only b/c i cant picture a flimsy shaft leading into a fly ball...unless you tee the ball too high and you get under the ball? i would think that a flimsy shaft would lead to your golf ball going into different directions b/c the club face may not come in square to the ball in impact, therefore leading the ball left or right. try changing the loft on the driver. good luck!

  7. if your swing speed is over 95 mph get stiff, and if below stay with regular

  8. Well it could be either.....or neither.  It may be as simple as needing a different kickpoint.  club fitting is best done today dynamically on a launch monitor.  to fit the proper launch angle to your swing takes in to account club head loft, Shaft flex (partially based on club head speed) and kickpoint to achieve the optimum.  I have always advised anybody before they buy any club to be properly fitted to avoid just what you are experiencing.
