  1. I am a ski racer myself and racing skis are different than any other skis. If she is a truly good skier she will be able to ski them in anything including moguls and powders. However if she wants to compete in a mogul skiing competition you may want to consider getting a pair of skis specifically for that. Mogul skis are generally shorter and straighter with less pop than a pair of GS skis.

  2. Maybe, but it's not one I would choose. A gs ski is a little stiff for most mogul skiing. If it's just a few mogul runs, alright, if it's all day long, it may be very tiring. It also depends on her ability, size and the size of the ski.  If they are tuned for racing, the edge hold may be more than she wants in the moguls. Talk with the other mogul skiers in the area about what they are using and how they tune their skiis. A change in how the edges are sharpened makes a difference in how the ski performs.

  3. Bad idea. They are too stiff. And also GS skis are for tacingg and going fast. Not for making quick turns they will not be good for the moguls. Try a pairs of twin tips or just shorter skis.

  4. i prefer a good gs ski for moguls, but hopefully your daughter is strong enough to use them in that way. Make sure they are not too long. I find a mogul ski too soft for my style. is she agressive? otherwise go with another ski. I wouldn't count on them being good for both because it would be pretty easy to bend a ski like that in the bumps then for racing they are shot. Volkl is my fav, BTW.

  5. itll all work out but u shoulda got scott or oakly my opinoin
