I bought a solar light and I must let it charge,...?

but,it doesn't say how. It has a button to turn on and off. so,should I leave it on to charge or off?

leave it on,keep it in the full sun for at least 8 hrs. They usually don't stay lite up very long at night. When you do figure where you want place it make sure it is in direct sun light. Honestly i would recommend the ones you plug in they use very little energy .They turn on at dusk and turn on at dawn.I own these kind I got them at Loews they are copper and have very low voltage. Well good luck with your new lights, try them out or try my suggestion.bye

It is designed to draw its power from the sun. If no directions, install and leave on, then at dark, see how it does. If it doesn't work turn it off then back on the next day in the late evening.
