I am curious where to look for this, or any horses, backround. He is a 6 year old gelding bought in Ocala area. Please let me know where to look. Thanks.

  1. Can you read the tattoo, if you can contact the jockey club, I will give you the link and you can see his papers or buy a new set of papers. The reason a lot of trainers sell race horses without papers is that they don't want to see that horse back on the track for any reason. Without its papers you cannot bring him onto any race track that belongs to the National Racing Association, which is most all of the tracks in the U.S.

But you can buy a new set of papers that are not for racing or you can at least view his papers on record. It will have all his wins, who had owned him, who bred him and where(sounds like Ocala) it will have his mother's name and fathers name and a physical description of him to a tee. From there you can look up his racing record in the Daily Racing Forms database, but I think there is a fee involved for that.

  2. where ever u bought the horse from should have the horses records and it should tell u everything about the horse enjoy your little horse

    horses rule

  3. I would write down the number, and ask a major race track to track the number, then they can give you his records, list of trainers, breeder, owners, etc. and vet records, claims records, wins, losses. all that stuff.

  4. the fasted way would be the jockey club
