I bought a ticket to Italy and i need Schengen visa,i called the Italian embassy they told me its all booked?

what should i do?i'm supposed to travel in 5 weeks and really need Schengen visa.

help please

  1. If you are able to change your flight plans, you should be able to book them to and from a different country in the schegen scheme (say France).  You have to enter and leave by the country that issues the visa.  You are, however,  able to travel to other countries (Italy) with the visa as long as you have come into the schegen area via the issuing country.


  2. same prob with my hubby... where u from? we got a visa from a different country with the EU. feel free to mail me and ill explain what to do! easier than on here!

  3. No such thing as it all being booked. Contact your local Italian Consulate, they deal with visas usually (the embassy deals mostly with diplomatic matters).

    What country are you from? Certain countries don;t need a visa if the stay is Italy is under 3 months.
