I bought a used 05 Tucson that is supposed to have an alarm, but it doesn't beep when I lock the doors. Why?

The keypad works fine. It locks and unlocks and the panic button works. The owners manual said that it should beep and the turn signals should blink when I push the lock button on the keypad to lock and then push it again to set the alarm. I have the original dealer sheet that lists the alarm as on of the features. I don't know what the problem is.

  1. This should be an easy one. Go back to the dealer and tell

them the problem. They should check it out for you at no

charge.. It may have been temporarily disconnected so it

wouldn't make a scene when it was in the lot.

    Good Luck to you...
