Of course.  Some how people think that a USED car dealer is the same as NEW car dealer.  They have no obligating to sell good cars.

There's nothing you can do about it other than to look up your state's lemon law.

    Good luck...

  2. What kind of damage? Cars don't have frames anymore. Is this a truck?

Who says it's damaged?  Your uncle Leo or someone who actually knows what they're talking about?

  3. You can fix your car or sell it.

I know that people love to put us dealers on a spit.  But many times even dealers are not aware of damage to cars.  Especially smaller used car lots.  They buy cars at auction that got shoved in there by a wholesaler or some other dealer.  Or, the car gets traded in to them.  Often times damage like this is not disclosed.  And, unless the dealer puts the vehicle on a frame rack, they may not uncover it themselves.

I know its hard to swallow - but customers lie to us.  Oh its never been in an accident - sure.

There is no lemon law on used cars.  Make all the calls in the world, but its a done deal.

This is why we encourage people to get a thorough inspection BEFORE you part with your hard-earned cash

  4. Very little choice left.  You can voluntarily surrender the car back to the dealership and take the credit hit or find a sucker to buy it from you.  I'd find a way to expose the dealership to the public for the scum they are too for tricking you into buying a lemon.

  5. What the poster above me said...Enjoy your new purchase.

Fix it if you want to, but enjoy it either way.

Not getting an inspection = not smart.
