  1. I have owned three over the past 30 years and a friend has two, he has owned one for the twenty years that I have known him and one he bought about ten years ago

No problems with any one them and they have all been well used

  2. of course! Llamas are the best!!!!

  3. 45 caliber? h**l yeah, though a lotta recoil for a handgun.

  4. No problems with the one I had.*

  5. haha... llama....

  6. That depends.  On foreign made 'clones' quality control sometimes is really lacking.  You must inspect each individual gun carefully before buying.  If it appears solid to you and all the parts fit right then it is probably okay.  Also, watch for excessive wear as sometimes the clones will wear prematurely.

    Good luck.

  7. depends who you ask.

it is not the most well constructed handgun, it is ideally suited for concealed carry. If you keep it clean and regularly maintained, it will serve you well.

    other side of the fence:

Absolute garbage. I bought one used from a guy who rarely shot it and now I know why; it spits flakes of carbon and sparks after about 10 rounds, it is wildly inaccurate, poorly constructed, nearly impossible to break down, the grips shift when firing, it jams consistently. I dumped it for a pretty little Bernardelli .32 and got the better deal for sure. Avoid these pieces of junk at all costs.

  8. llama is poorly made.

  9. shouldve gone with the Colt M1911 time tested and still in use today.

  10. I got a new Llama 1911 clone at a bargain price in the 90's. It turns out its no bargain after all. That gun was a nightmare from h**l. I ran into problems after only few shots. Accuracy was scary. Reliability was scary. Durability was also scary. I only owned it for around 2 weeks and put less than 1000 rounds through it. I've never had any gun that gave me so many problems in such a short time. It was absolutely horrible. It is not good for plinking. It is not good for target shooting. If I must use it for defense, I'll either use it as a hammer or as a projectile. It is good at making loud noises though. Now, I put Llamas in the same class as Lorcins.

PS: Older Llama's are marginally acceptable though.
