I am 19 and believe it or not I have never bought a watch before so have no idea how much they normally cost or what makes are good. I went inot John Lewis and bought a "Guess" watch with an rrp of £150 and I was wandering if this would be considered a high quality watch? Is this make of watch well trusted? Thanks x

  1. what did you pay for it?

  2. So long as it tells the correct time who cares.

  3. I should think so, otherwise you've just been scammed

  4. its just business

they probably manufactured it for £50 maybe less

selling it for £150 is what they do so they can go on holiday 5 times a year

sometimes its not about quality, its business

  5. I've always known Guess to be a pretty good quality watch! As for prices, I am not sure, but I would say that that's a very good price! Possibly a bit of a bargain for a high street shop!

  6. From such a reliable store.....YES

But RRP is meaningless in itself.
