lighter fluid, i own a zippo and never heard of charcol

this sounds a little daft but be carefull with lighter fluid,i know someone who overfilled it put it back toghether and decided to have a smoke, she still had vapour on her hands so i think you what happens nxt 30% burns

after filling dont use it for about 5 mins let the  exess vapour evaporate

NO, don't use charcoal lighter fluid!!!  Lighter fluid is essentially naptha.  Zippo fluid works best.
