  1. i take everything flavored bagels and smear cream cheese and top w sprouts so freakn YUMMY!

  2. put it in your mouth and chew

  3. Soy bean sprouts are the larger ones that are normally used in stir fries.  Alfalfa sprouts are small and fine.  They're very good on cold sandwiches.  Just rinse, and refrigerate for a while.  Then use them in a 'wich.

  4. You could use them in a fresh salad with other veggies of your choice, eg. bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, baby corn, chickpeas, olives, hot peppers, some fruits like apple, orange, grapes, pineapple...

Toss everything together with your favorite dressing. I like to keep it simple, and use some lemon/lime juice, salt, pepper, and fresh basil or mint.

  5. When I have sprouts on hand, I dump them on top all my salads.  I also love using them as sandwich-filler. One of my favorite sandwiches is sprouts, spinach, shaved carrots, and avocado on toasted wheat bread.

  6. I usually use them in a sandwich. Obviously, start with whole grain bread. I spread both slices with hummus. Then comes a layer of cucumbers and tomatoes. Then the sprouts. It's really, really good. I usually take it for lunch. The people at work tease me for eating stuff that looks like lawn clippings, but it's all in good fun.

  7. I love them in a veggie wrap. Lebanese bread, 1/2 a ripe avocado, cucumber, tomato, mixed lettuce, carrots, alfalfa sprouts, a sprinkle of cracked black pepper and salt... wrap it all up and you have a healthy delicious meal.
