Even if they did make you pay for it with your own money its your belt so why would they have to pay for it. It just sounds really immature and selfish. Its 8 bucks! And its not like you didnt have the money...

And you already eat up all their food, sleeping in the bed THEY bought for you and living in the house that they are paying for with their money that they had to actually work to earn. Its not like their job is handing out gift cards to them. And you should be happy they even used their gas to drive you to wal mart so you can even buy that 8 dollar belt.

I have a great idea! Why don't you eat their food, use their electricity, heating and air conditioning. Then you can use their toilet paper, furnishings and linens. That'll show them!
