  1. Apart from the 100v to 240v and the cycles per second difference. The US system uses 525 lines per screen (NTSC). The UK uses 625 lines (PAL), so the picture will flicker and be black/white only. Really, sell it to someone going to the US or certain Caribbean islands.


  2. In short...it won't work without a lot of hassle.

    You NEED a voltage transformer from 110 volts to 240 volts and ideally from 60hz to just 50hz. It will play DVD etc through the SCART or HDMI sockets fine.

    Honesty...sell it & get a UK one.
