I bought an iPod touch in January and now I got a black screen with an apple and a little moving circle.?

so about a year ago i got my iPod touch and now i was on my computer and got the new update. when the update was done downloading and was installed my iPod reset itself like it usually does. but this time it wouldn't turn on any more it would just stay on a black screen with the apple on it and the little spinning circle on the bottom. it's been this way for four hours now and i'm getting kind of frustrated and i've tried everything i know to fix it but can't.

does any one else have this problem or is it just me, and if anyone else does have this problem can someone please tell me what to do to fix it.

Please some one help me!!!!!

You can try restoring it in iTunes. Or restart the iPod.
