I bought and Item from craigslist and paid via paypal. They never shipped my ITEM! what can i do about this!!!

cancact the PayPal service, maybe they can help you

Contact paypal immediately and file a dispute, hopefully they will be able to get your money back, so start the first step immediately, the sooner the better/

Contact PayPal and open a dispute.

I don't know if it's different for Craigslist, but I had to do this with a seller on Ebay. While I "won" my dispute, I never got my money back. What sucks is that if the seller closes their PayPal account and/or they have no money in the account that they're linked up to, PayPal has no way of obtaining a refund for you.

It's kind of a long process (you have to explain your situation via email to PayPal, they contact the seller, you wait for the seller to respond, then PayPal makes a decision).
