I have a 12 gallon tank, and have a school of Neon Tetras, and a beautiful blue and white male betta in there. I am changing my old white gravel to balck gravel, but reading other Q & A's I am not sure to use a black background too, a solid blue one, or some other color? RIght now, My background is a regular popular underwater scene, with solid blue on the opposite side. What would be the best?

  1. The majority of fish respond better(color wise) to a black/ very dark background. So if you want your fishes colors to stand out i would go dark. Good luck!!!

  2. blue

  3. The Fish Will stand out due to the black gravel so i will have to say get something with black and a little color, your fish are still going to standout because of the gravel so get something that will  make your aquarium awesome
