I bought gta4 in on ebay and the guy is from canada so...?

how long does it take for a presumabely small parcel to arrive from Canada.

I'm assuming you live in the USA.  It all depends where he lives in Canada.  I live in Michigan and my buddy lives in windsor (3 hr drive) and it took about a week to get to me.  Obviously if hes shipping it from BC or something and you live in Florida its going to take alot longer because of the distance.  Your package will always go through customs which causes a delay.

I'd say two weeks MAX but I'm surprised you didnt just buy it in the USA since all the stores around me havent even sold out

Shipping times from Canada can vary, from getting there in less than a week if it is shipped by a reliable courier like Fedex or UPS.

If he shipped it via Canada Post / US Postal Service, that tends to take a much longer time. They EACH take up to a week to send packages to the customs depot at the border, and then the customs officials usually take their time (1-3 weeks) reviewing the parcels to make sure there is nothing illegal going back and forth. They even have the right to open the package and review it. (You will know if they did because a sticker will be listed on it saying that it was opened for security reasons).

So you could be waiting anywhere from 1-2 weeks, or as much as 4-6 weeks, unfortunately.

I am sure you are probably a careful buyer on eBay, so I should not have to remind you that "...if the deal sounds too good to be true, it usually is...". Since GTA4 is available in USA first and probably cheaper, it's possible someone is selling you a pirated copy or just an empty case. Make sure to report them if that happens.
